Right to life?

If LPR's idea goes through, then this will mean that a woman's life is worth less than a feotus. - Great, this means if i value my wife, we can never have children!!!
Is this just another attampt by our glorious coalition to divert attention from real issues, such as taking 14 months to process an application for EU funds to upgrade computers in a small business?

I don;t thinks a diversion, Varus...these guys mean it! What has been amazing has been how they can dominate the agenda in this way, with the 'liberals' in Poland merely sitting in front of the TV and throwing rubber bricks at it when Kaczor or one of the Giertych's come on.

Yes, unfortunatley a do agree that they mean it.

As for the liberals; their lack of support in parliment will mean that this law is unlikeley, as LPR want a constitutional ammendment which requires 66%. However, they they can still go for a standard law on the statute books as this requires a simple majority which the soalition can muster. In this event, then the wrath of the liberals would make ver little difference and so may be they are right just to bide their time and await a new election where they can gain power.

Religia is against the amendment so I think it's definitely screwed.

From an ethical perspective I am against abortion personally but I son't agree with coercing a woman to go through with a pregnancy after incest, rape, if her life is in danger, etc.

LPR do cause they have a really warped sense of Christian ethics which includes supporting their quasi-fascist youth-wing beating up gays and flaming out all sorts of lies which have no basis in rationality regarding the links between homosexuality and paedophilia.

They are pro-death penalty because they believe in the old testament of one testicle for another, or wait, was that one eye for one eye? Gandhi refutes this with his majestic phrase refuting the concept of violent struggle to achieve freedom: 'an eye for an eye leaves everyone blind.'

LPR are desperate cause their support hars dropped so dramitically that if an election washeld tomorrow they would not have the minimum mandate required to be in positions of parliamentary power.

They are perceived as more powerful than they actualy are and the media give them way too much airtime, especially the new head of MW who seems to be held up by the meejits as someone who has an opinion informed by something other than his own arse.
Tut tut tut, how disrespectful of me!
